The Founding 100
$5 a month or $49 a year. Locked in forever.
The first hundred families to subscribe lock in a permanent rate that nobody else will get.
We're building PreptRight with the families who join us first. The Founding 100 pay the lower rate for as long as they stay subscribed, and in exchange we ask for a few things: take a short survey at thirty days and again at sixty days, and tell us if we can quote you somewhere down the line. That's it.
The rate is locked for as long as you stay. If you ever cancel, the rate goes with it.
Limited to 100 families. We'll close it when it's full.
What this is worth
Nine dollars a month, because we think our kids' wellbeing in the years they have a phone is worth that, and then some.
We built PreptRight for our own four kids before anyone else's. Two are still in the window this app is built for. Every lesson is held to the standard we'd want for them. The curriculum is serious work. The conversations it starts are the ones we wish more families were having.

What's the difference between Free Starter and Pro?
Free Starter gives you three full courses (Welcome to Your Phone, Cyberbullying, Strangers and Online Safety). Pro unlocks the full curriculum, all 15 courses and 78 lessons, plus the tools that keep the conversation going: scheduled check-ins, an on-demand library of prompts for harder moments, and a parent-and-child agreement you build together inside the app.
What does Pro cover?
The five subjects of the full PreptRight curriculum: how to communicate, social media literacy, online safety, mental health, and living with purpose. Every course, every lesson, every kid in your house, both parents on the dashboard. Plus check-ins on a schedule that fits your week and an agreement builder for the commitments you and your kid make to each other.
How many kids does one subscription cover?
All of them. We're not going to charge a family with three kids more than a family with one. The phone-readiness conversation is a family conversation.
Do I get charged during the free trial?
At launch, the 7-day free trial requires a card to start. We send a reminder email two days before the trial ends so you can decide before any money moves.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No phone calls, no retention scripts. Cancel from your account page in two clicks.
What happens to my Founding 100 rate if I cancel?
The founding rate is locked for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel, the rate is gone, and rejoining later means standard pricing.
How do the check-ins work?
After every lesson, PreptRight gives the parent one question to ask at dinner. The dashboard schedules these at whatever cadence works for your family. There's also an on-demand library you can open anytime, organized by moment: everyday catch-up, something you noticed, a bigger conversation you want to start. You always have words ready.
What is the parent-and-child agreement?
It's the phone agreement you've been meaning to write, built inside the app together. You each contribute commitments. The agreement evolves as your kid moves through the curriculum (so when they finish the lesson on apps designed to keep them scrolling, screen-time expectations get added). You both sign it. You can revise it.
What ages is this designed for?
PreptRight is designed for kids ages 12 to 16. The curriculum is organized into three levels: Foundation (12-13), Growing (13-14), and Independence (15-16). Some families start earlier or later. The content works from about age 10 onward.
Is this a parental control app?
No. PreptRight does not monitor your child's phone, track their location, or restrict app usage. It's a curriculum and a shared experience. The goal is to build understanding and trust, not to surveil. If you want monitoring tools, there are other apps for that. PreptRight is designed to make them less necessary over time.
Is my child's data private?
Yes. PreptRight is built in compliance with COPPA. Child profiles are created by parents, not by children independently. We do not use behavioral advertising targeted at children, and you can request complete data deletion at any time.
What happens when my child turns 17?
The core curriculum covers ages 12 to 16. When your child ages out of the primary curriculum, your family keeps access to all completed courses and the full agreement archive. We're building post-16 content for v2.
